The Shikhar is literally and figuratively the crowning piece of architectural and spiritual significance for a Hindu Temple. It symbolizes the upliftment of the human soul to the Eternal Truth, the Divine, and to enlightenment.
The Shikhar construction completes the plan for the main Temple structure. We have planned for this from the beginning. The fact that this is the 25th year of our Temple makes the opportunity to accomplish this goal now even more special. We have the rare privilege and blessing to be part of this significant milestone in our Temple's life and realize a long-held dream.
Temple will have a Pradhan Shikhar over the Sanctum, three Shikhars at the East entrance and a Viman at the South entrance. We will also undertake the decoration of the windows and doors as part of this Phase.
